Location The resort is on what was formerly a 19th century wheat farm, nestled in an impressive alpine amphitheatre of snow-capped mountains. Its proximity to Queenstown (only a 20-minute drive away) allows guests easy access to the cosmopolitan buzz of the town, while at the same time being far enough away for guests to be able to enjoy the tranquillity and splendour of the alpine countryside. The historic gold-mining town of Arrowtown is a short drive away (approximately 3 minutes) as are award-winning tourist attractions and the outdoor activities that have made Queenstown world famous. The airport is 15 km away. Facilities This golf resort, which was renovated in 2007, offers luxury accommodation in this historic and majestic destination. It has 175 rooms in total and is renowned for its warm and welcoming service. It has a lobby with 24-hour reception, a hotel safe, a currency exchange facility, café, hairdressers’ salon, three restaurants, conference facilities, Internet and WLAN access (the latter subject to fees), room service (charges apply), laundry services and cycle hire. The Hole In One Bar is the perfect place to relax and enjoy a drink, while younger guests are sure to enjoy the playground facilities. Parking facilities are available to guests arriving by car. Rooms Village Inn is a small, warm, rustic, cosy country cottage covering 50 m². An en suite bathroom, direct dial telephone, satellite TV, Internet access, minibar, fridge, tea/coffee making facilities, ironing set, king-size bed, individually-adjustable air conditioning, walk-in wardrobe, as well as either a balcony or patio with spectacular views over the golf course, mountains or grounds all feature. Sports/Entertainment Facilities include an 18-hole championship golf course, premier world class spa facility with ten treatment rooms and the complementary H&F centre, with Jacuzzis, tennis courts, an indoor heated swimming pool, gym, steam room, saunas and free fitness classes. Winter sports such as skiing and snowboarding can also be found in the area. A sun terrace and massage treatments are offered (both subject to fees), as are bocce and walking trails. There is a complimentary shuttle bus service to Arrowtown.
