Location Situated in the tranquility of Kensington Gardens Square, it is hard to believe that you are only moments from bustling Bayswater, with its countless international restaurants and public houses. Both Bayswater and Queensway underground stations are in the immediate area. Hyde Park is only a 5-minute-walk away. Many of London's premier attractions such as Harrods, Madame Taussaud's and Buckingham Palace are only a half-hour walk away. The hotel can be reached easily from all of the major London airports, including Stanstead, Heathrow and Gatwick. Facilities This city hotel is a small and cosy Victorian property, with many original features. It was built in 1857 and renovated in 2002, and comprises a total of 17 rooms. It is an excellent location, suitable for both business and leisure guests. It offers a lobby, 24-hour reception and a hotel safe. There is also WLAN access available. In addition guests can enjoy the facilities of a 3 star hotel at the next door sister hotel. Rooms Bedrooms have been sympathetically designed to preserve the charm and comfort of the original building. All rooms come with a double bed, an en suite bathroom, a hairdryer, a direct dial telephone with dataport, a satellite TV, a radio, Internet access and tea and coffee making facilities. Central heating and a safe also come as standard. Meals A continental style breakfast buffet and full English breakfast are available at our sister hotel next door. Payable on site. How to get there Directions - By Rail Take the underground from one of London's main line stations. The hotel is within easy walking distance from Queensway Central Line and Bayswater Circle lines. Turn left out of either station and walk towards Whiteley's Shopping Centre. Turn left again, and the hotel is 100 yards ahead on the left. Directions - By Car from M25 From the M40 or M25 junction 16. Leave the M25 at Junction 16 and proceed onto the M40. Continue until reaching the exit marked M41. Proceed along the M41 until the next roundabout at Shepherds Bush, then turn left here onto the A40 Holland Park Avenue, which becomes Bayswater Road. Turn left down Queensway, and left again at Whiteley's Shopping Centre. The hotel is 100 yards ahead on the left-hand side.
