Location This pleasant hotel is situated in the leisure district of Puerto Escondido directly on Bacocho beach. Puerto Escondido Airport is just 5 minutes away. It is 15 minutes to Lagune Manialtepec while the nature reserve can be reached in 40 minutes. Access to public transport is also nearby, just 100 m from the hotel. Facilities The hotel was renovated in 2005 and has 108 rooms in total. The building has a lobby with 24-hour reception, safe, currency exchange facilities, cloakroom, kiosk and gift shop. The hotel offers guests bar and dining facilities, a business centre, 2 conference rooms, Internet access, a games room, bicycle parking and a kids' club. Parking facilities are available in the form of a car park and a garage. Room, laundry and medical services complete the offer. A babysitting service as well as offers for honeymooners are also available. The hotel is disability friendly. Rooms The modern rooms come with an en suite bathroom, a direct dial telephone and safe as well as either a king-size or 2 double beds, satellite/cable TV, air conditioning, Internet access and kitchenette with fridge, microwave and tea/coffee making facilities. The rooms have a living room area as well as a balcony or terrace. A child's cot is available on request. Sports/Entertainment There 2 swimming pools and a children's pool available to guests in the outdoor complex and an entertainment programme provides some variation for guests. In the spa facilities guests can allow themselves be spoiled with face and full-body massages. There are excursions organised to the nearby nature reserve. For the more sporting guests surfing, windsurfing, diving, canoeing, pedal boating, table tennis, volleyball, football and water polo are also available. Meals The hotel has a lobby bar in which guests can enjoy particular drinks in a relaxed atmosphere, as well as a poolside snack bar. There are a number of restaurants available in the hotel: Bugambilias offering both dishes from Oaxaca and international, Terraza Puesta del Sol, which is particularly recommendable for a romantic dinner for two with a view of the sea, and Las Iguana, which serves international drinks as well as mescal and juicy botanas.
