Location The hotel is located in a quiet setting, just minutes from the hustle and bustle of CBD of Cairns. Facilities The resort features an open-plan design and is set amidst tropical landscaped gardens. Natural timbers were used extensively in the construction of the building. From the stunning timber entrance to the tall cypress poles, to the pyramid ceiling, every effort has been taken to create a complex that maximises natural light and breeze flow for a truly unique setting. This privately owned establishment prides itself on its warm and friendly environment with attentive service and dedicated staff. It offers 61 rooms in total. Rooms Rooms and suites are well-appointed with a Mediterranean feel; decorated with wrought-iron and rattan furniture, terracotta tiles, wooden louvre blinds and colourful fabrics. Standard rooms vary in configuration, featuring either 1 king or queen or 2 twin beds. Family rooms have 1 queen and 2 single beds. 1 bedroom suites have a queen-size bed and double sofa bed in a separate lounge area. Studios come with a kitchenette and can sleep up to 5 persons in a variety of bedding configurations. Sports/Entertainment An expansive timber sundeck with shade, as well as 2 large free-form outdoor swimming pools surrounded by bush rock and Pandanus palms feature. An outdoor spa bath and BBQ facilities are also provided. Live music is offered occasionally at the onsite Irish pub. Meals Popular with hotel guest and locals alike, Willie McBride's Restaurant and Irish pub is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner and offers outdoor dining too.
