Location The beach hotel is approximately a 15-minute drive from the centre. The tourist centre, Zona Dorada, the aquarium and the coastal road are all only 5 minutes away. Mazatlán airport lies around 30 minutes away by car. Facilities Renovated in 2003 and situated on the beach, this hotel has a total of 469 rooms, spread between a 17-storey main building and three neighbouring buildings. Amongst the air-conditioned hotel facilities count a foyer with 24-hour reception, lifts, a currency exchange counter, a cloakroom and hotel safes. Also on offer are a small supermarket, shops, a hairdressing salon, La Pergola auditorium, a TV room and WLAN. There is also a dining room, a lobby bar, a very famous nightclub and a conference room. Dining option includes a buffet restaurant with terrace seating and sea views, an international gourmet restaurant El Alcaza as well as a snack bar on the beach. Room and laundry services are also available as well as a kids' club, launderette and medical assistance. Use of a car park and garage is also available. Rooms The wheelchair accessible rooms comprise modern facilities with light parquet flooring and dark furnishings. They feature an en suite bathroom, a hairdryer, a king-size or double bed, air conditioning, fan and terrace or balcony with views of the pool or the ocean. Decorated in navy blue and tropical shades, the rooms also include ironing equipment, a direct dial telephone, a hire safe and cable/satellite TV. Sports/Entertainment The hotel grounds feature one of the largest swimming pools in Mexico as well as a poolside snack bar, a children's paddling pool and sun loungers. There is a steam room, a sauna, a massage service, spa offerings and a Jacuzzi for guests to enjoy. Guests may also take advantage of the opportunity to go water skiing, jet skiing, diving, surfing, windsurfing, catamaran sailing, canoeing and fishing at sea. Other sporting activities include aerobics, squash, tennis, basketball, mountain biking, cycling, (beach) volleyball and billiards. In addition, a gym and a golf course are also available. An entertainment programme is additionally on offer for both young and older guests. Meals It is also possible to book an all-inclusive stay.
